After completing his debut feature Vo Ladki (yet to be released), actor and producer Raahi is all set to take his storytelling journey forward with two new films slated for 2026Chor and Back Bencher. Both projects will feature him in the lead role and will be produced under his banner Raahi Productions.

Chor tells the story of a young man who breaks into a house for theft, only to find himself trapped by a lonely woman who decides to keep him captive. What follows is an intense psychological and emotional exchange between two broken individuals — one seeking freedom, the other connection.

In contrast, Back Bencher explores a deeply philosophical and emotional narrative. It follows a student who begins submitting true stories from his own life as assignments to his professor. As the story unfolds, the lines between fiction and reality blur — and in the climactic twist, the professor turns out to be an integral part of the student’s own story.

Speaking about his upcoming projects, Raahi shared:

“Both Chor and Back Bencher are close to my heart because they come from real emotions and human contradictions. I’m more interested in exploring truth, loneliness, and inner transformation than formula-based entertainment.”

With Vo Ladki gearing up for release and two powerful stories in development, Raahi continues to emerge as one of the most original and introspective voices in the new wave of Indian independent cinema.
