Actor Raahi to Lead, Write, and Produce New Drama Series “Ameer Baap Gareeb Baap”

Actor Raahi has announced his next ambitious project, a drama series titled “Ameer Baap Gareeb Baap”, which will be developed under his own banner, Raahi Productions. The series is currently in development and will premiere on the production house’s official YouTube channel.

What makes this project special is Raahi’s triple role as the protagonist, writer, and producer. Through this series, he aims to explore the contrasting worlds of wealth and poverty, tradition and modernity, survival and aspiration.

At its heart, “Ameer Baap Gareeb Baap” tells the story of a young man shaped by two father figures. His biological father, though poor, instills in him strong values, discipline, and cultural grounding. But survival in today’s world demands more than values alone. That’s where his mentor, a wealthy businessman who treats him like his own son, steps in — offering him resources, opportunities, and a liberated way of thinking.

This central conflict — between the sanskaar inherited from a poor father and the expansive freedom gained from a rich father figure — forms the emotional and dramatic core of the series.

Speaking about the project, Raahi said the concept is very close to his heart: “Every person at some point struggles between values and opportunities. This series reflects that inner conflict through an engaging, relatable story.”

Though the release date has not been finalized yet, fans can expect “Ameer Baap Gareeb Baap” to bring a fresh blend of drama, emotion, and social commentary when it premieres exclusively on YouTube.
